My favorite things about this day.....
My kids excitement for their Christmas boxes and even though they know what they get every year they are so excited to see exactly which book and exactly what pajamas are in that box. This year the boxes include Lego pajamas and one little boy is going to flip.
Baking cookies, we all gather around and watch T help the girl make them while we try to sneak cookie dough. Who doesn't love cookie dough?
Elf...our favorite movie, we watch it at least twice on this day.
Receiving last minute packages that we weren't expecting. My mom does this every year, you would think we would be used to it but every year it's such a delightful surprise to see our UPS man at our gate.
Watching my kids demolish the gingerbread house as they pull hard candy off and eat it, ewww....
This year there was a baseball bat involved and there may be a chip and crack on the glass lighting fixture above the kitchen table. Next year we will keep the baseball bats out of the equation.
