As this polar vortex settles in I am so thankful it's still sunny. The 12 degrees I ran errands in didn't seem so bad because the sun was shining bright. I am trying to embrace the cold, trying to remind myself it won't last forever. Remind myself that summer will come again. I know I know, it's only November and I have a long six months of embracing ahead of me. For now I'm still smiling and being thankful for a warm, cozy home as this weather freezes the back door and front gate shut.
