#thisplaceisawesome

This hashtag has become a running joke between Mr. fun and I.

They wear fur boots, like everyone does. #thisplaceisawesome
They say hella and hecka here. Haven't heard that word since 1993, now I hear it all the time. From grown adults even. #thisplaceisawesome
Kids don't wear seat belts. #thisplaceisawesome
Parents smoke in their vehicles, with their kids. #thisplaceisawesome
Teens have tattoos. #thisplaceisawesome
My kids can't wear solid blue or red to school due to gangs.#thisplaceisawesome
I use the phrase "just because it zips doesn't mean it fits" way too often. #thisplaceisawesome
Our burb was stolen right out of our garage. #thisplaceisawesome
The stores are miniature sized and there's only one of each. #thisplaceisawesome
They don't have an Old Navy. #thisplaceisawesome
There was a shooting 2.5 miles from our house yesterday. #thisplaceisawesome
The kids rarely get days off and fewer half days. AND on half days I still have to make lunches. Some awesome California law made to punish parents. #thisplaceisawesome
When it gets cold, it stays cold. #thisplaceisawesome
Still haven't connected with any moms. #thisplaceisawesome
The cow smell is something else here. It's strong and in charge. #thisplaceisawesome
The radio stations play new songs from last year, not this year. #thisplaceisawesome
Mr. Fun can't go anywhere without seeing someone from work. #thisplaceisawesome
Everyone I meet here has grown up here, everyone. #thisplaceisawesome

In all seriousness, it could be worse. This town has it's perks, I'll get back to you on those. But if I ever use the hashtag #thisplaceisawesome it's sarcasm. And if you don't know what a hashtag is, never mind.
